Sugar – Fasting/Postprandial
This test measures the level of glucose (sugar) in the blood either after fasting (Fasting Sugar) or after eating a meal (Postprandial Sugar).

– Fasting Sugar : The test is typically performed after an overnight fast to assess how well the body regulates blood glucose levels in a fasting state. It helps in diagnosing diabetes, prediabetes, or other metabolic disorders.

– Postprandial Sugar : This test is done 2 hours after a meal to evaluate how the body processes glucose after eating. It helps in assessing the effectiveness of insulin response and may be used to diagnose diabetes or monitor blood sugar control in people with diabetes.
