Test Description: Rh Antibody Titre

The Rh Antibody Titre test measures the concentration of Rh antibodies in the blood. Rh antibodies are produced when an Rh-negative person is exposed to Rh-positive blood, often during pregnancy or blood transfusions. This test is particularly important during pregnancy to monitor for potential complications like hemolytic disease of the newborn (HDN), which can occur if an Rh-negative mother carries an Rh-positive baby.
