The Protein (Urine Spot Test) measures the amount of protein in a single urine sample, typically to screen for kidney disease or urinary tract issues. Normally, urine contains little to no protein, but increased levels can indicate kidney damage or conditions such as nephrotic syndrome, glomerulonephritis, or urinary tract infections.
