HIV Screen :
A test used to detect HIV infection in individuals. The most common HIV screening tests are based on detecting HIV antibodies (the body’s immune response to the virus) or the HIV p24 antigen (a viral protein). Modern tests, such as fourth-generation HIV tests , can detect both HIV antibodies and p24 antigen , allowing for earlier detection, usually within 2–4 weeks after exposure.
