Hepatitis E Virus (HEV) IgM Test :
A blood test that detects the presence of IgM antibodies against the Hepatitis E virus (HEV). The presence of HEV IgM indicates recent or acute infection with Hepatitis E, as IgM antibodies are the first to appear in response to a new infection.
A positive result suggests an active or recent Hepatitis E infection, while a negative result typically indicates no current infection.
