CULTURE URINE (AEROBIC -22 DRUGS)

The Urine Culture (Aerobic – 22 Drugs) test is used to identify bacterial infections in the urinary tract and determine which antibiotics are most effective for treating the infection. The test involves growing bacteria from a urine sample in an aerobic environment (with oxygen) to detect pathogens that cause urinary tract infections (UTIs).

Additionally, the test includes antibiotic sensitivity testing for 22 commonly used antibiotics. This helps identify the specific antibiotics that are effective against the identified bacteria, ensuring targeted treatment.
