Sugar Random Urine
This test measures the level of glucose in the urine at any time of day, regardless of when the person last ate. Normally, there should be little to no glucose in the urine. If the glucose level in the urine is elevated, it may indicate that blood sugar levels are abnormally high, which can occur in conditions like diabetes or uncontrolled hyperglycemia. The Random Urine Sugar test is often used as a preliminary screening tool to identify potential issues with glucose metabolism. However, it is usually followed by further tests, such as blood glucose measurements, for a definitive diagnosis.
