Bile Salt and Pigment Urine Test
The Bile Salt and Pigment Urine test is used to detect the presence of bile salts and bile pigments (such as bilirubin) in the urine. Bile salts are produced by the liver and are involved in the digestion and absorption of fats, while bile pigments are by-products of red blood cell breakdown.
